PL Capital is a family of venture funds and programs backing founders scaling breakthrough R&D in computing and frontier technology, including decentralized infrastructure and neurotech. Its vehicles include PLC Neurotech, which invests in brain-computer interface, NeuroAI and connectomics companies; PLC Rails, which backs founders using cryptographic and decentralized primitives across AI, physical infrastructure, enterprise software and financial rails; and PL Venture Studio. The group is linked to Protocol Labs, whose founder Juan Benet, the inventor of Filecoin, IPFS and libp2p, serves on its teams, and beyond capital it convenes founders, researchers and funders to accelerate the fields it backs.
